Darmasiswa Students' Orientation

The University of Lampung (UNILA), again, held Darmasiswa Students’ Orientation on Tuesday (4/9/2018) in Ruang Sidang 2nd Floor of Rectorate Building. This event welcoming three students from three countries i.e. Karambizi Jean Pierre from Rwanda, Anna Lagoda from Poland, and Njoud Bashir Alrawashdeh from Jordan and attended by Rectore of UNILA, Indonesian Language Lecturers and Arts from Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), and Collaboration Development and International Affair or International Office’s Staffs (UPT PKLI). 

Darmasiswa program will be held in 1 year or 2 semesters, starts from this September 2018. In this occasion, the Head of International Office, Prof. Dr. Ir. Cipta Ginting, M, Sc., also delivered that this program is a mandatory from Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia to make the Darmasiswa students understand about Indonesian cultures and competence to speak in Bahasa. That is why, this event aims to give them information about UNILA in glance like rules, facilities, programs which offered, some agendas that Darmasiswa students will do, cultures, and potential tourism in Lampung. 

Besides, “It is also our effort to promote our university internationally” added Prof. Cipta Ginting.

In the end of this session, Darmasiswa students also got some information related to regulation and immigrations that used in Indonesia delivered by Mr. Dedi Iswanto, S.E., Manager of UNILA International Office. So, they can be easy to adapt in this country, especially in this university.
