First International Student Graduated from University of Lampung

University of Lampung (Unila) held a graduation procession on Wednesday, 21st March 2018 at the Main Auditorium of Unila. Among the graduates, one of foreign student from South Korea named Park Eun Ha or Esther also being graduated.



University of Lampung has held Summer Course Program with the theme “Coastal Life of Lampung Province 2017” on Wednesday to Friday, September 6th to 8th 2017 in Kiluan Bay, Tanggamus regency. The tutor in the activity was Dra. Endang Linirin, M.Sc., Ph.D., an expert in Biological Science at the Mathematics and Natural Science Faculty at Unila.


Stadium General "Business Ethic, Asian Value and Democracy"

Faculty of Social Science and Politics (FSSP) of the University of Lampung held a Stadium General with themes “Business Ethic, Asian Value and Democracy” in Senate Meeting Room 2nd floor of Rectorat Building on Wednesday, 14 March 2018. The speakers of this event were Prof. Mizlav Jezic, Prof. Josip Tica, and Mr. Kresimir Jurak from Zagreb University. There were about 120 students from FSSP attending the event. In addition, there were about 15 lecturers including the Dean of FSSP attended the lecture . The students looked to appreciate the lecture because they could learn about the topic. The speakers hope after following this event, the students will get a lot of experience about Business Ethic, Asian Value and Democracy.



Unila Hosted ACP Off-Campus Program and The 6th ACP Conference

Asian Cooperative Program (ACP) was a consortium of 15 universities in seven Asian countries. The theme of the consortium was “Safety Management including Natural Disaster and Man Made Disaster; including Industrial Disaster and Social Conflicts”. This program was divided into two; ACP-Off Campus Program and The 6th ACP Conference. Off-Campus Program carried the theme “Comparative Research on Safety Management: Indonesia, Japan, and ACP Countries” which provided unique educational opportunity to the students from 15 ACP consortium universities.


Applications Now Open for Darmasiswa 2018/2019

DARMASISWA is a scholarship program offered to all foreign students from countries which have diplomatic relations with Indonesia to study Indonesian language (Bahasa Indonesia), art and culture in 59 universities in 2018. This program was established in 1974 as part of ASEAN initiative, admitting only students from ASEAN countries. However, in 1976 this program was extended further to other countries.



Unila Joined the 5th Batch of SEA-Teacher Program

University of Lampung participated on the 5th Batch of Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia (SEA-Teacher Program) which was held on January 22 until February 18, 2018. This program was under supervision and coordination by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Secretariat (SEAMES) which was based in Thailand.
SEA-Teacher program was joined by some universities from some countries in Southeast Asia such as Indonesia, Thailand, and Philippines.


Darmasiswa Students are Participating in Outing Class (Batik and Gerabah)

Almost every place in Indonesia has a different tradition, culture, and art. Especially in Lampung, there are many kinds of arts from Lampung such as Batik and Gerabah. Batik is one of the traditional clothes from Indonesia and Gerabah is the traditional art from Indonesia, that looks like a ceramic made from the clay.

University of Lampung held “The Orientation Program for BIPA (Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers) Class in the Academic Year 2017/2018” on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday, September 5th, 2017 in the Senate Meeting room.
