Unila Welcoming Student Exchange From Japan

On February, 25th 2017.  University Lampung accepted the arrival of foreign student in student exchange program who come from Japan. His name is Yuya Jono and in this program he is going to learn at University of Lampung for 6 months.


Applications Now Open for Darmasiswa 2017/2018

DARMASISWA is a scholarship program offered to all foreign students from countries which have diplomatic relations with Indonesia to study Indonesian language (Bahasa Indonesia), art and culture in 59 universities in 2017. This program was established in 1974 as part of ASEAN initiative, admitting only students from ASEAN countries. However, in 1976 this program was extended further to other countries. Today, the number of countries participating in this program is more than 111 countries and it is organised by the Ministry of Education and Culture with the cooperation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.


Workshop : The Roles of Biostatistics in Natural Resource Managemen

(Unila): Two international experts from Japan held a workshop at the University of Lampung (Unila), Wednesday (18/2). They are Dr. Katsaya Tanaka of Shiga University, Japan in the field of economic resources and expertise of Dr. Atsushi Yoshimoto of the Institute of Statistics and Mathematics, Japan to the field of applied statistical expertise.


Learning "Batik Lampung"

International students of Darmasiswa Program University of Lampung were learning Lampungese Batik at Sanggar Batik Lampung. Each student has to make two batik cloth in the size of 60 x 160 cm.


International Students’ Art Performance

The eight International Students of University of Lampung (Unila) attracted the audience at the event of International Students’ Art Performance on May 26, 2015. They  were Akane Sunakawa (Japan), Sawinee Kunket (Thailand), Popa Cristian (Rumania), Sor Chantoun (Cambodia), Vladimir Mato (Slovakia), Sherali Jurayev (Uzbekistan), Abed Abdullah Muhammad Saleh Sageh (Yaman), from Darmasiswa Scholarship Program and another one was Thomas Luc Marie Hodee (Entpe French).

 The Professional Fellows Division in the Office of Citizen Exchanges at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational Affairs (ECA) invites proposal submissions for the FY 2015 Professional Fellows Program (PFP) for Southeast Asia in support of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI). For more information about YSEALI, visit The Professional Fellows Program is a two-way, global exchange program designed to enhance leadership and professional skills, and build lasting and sustainable partnerships between mid-level emerging leaders from foreign countries and the United States. The defining program activity for foreign participants is a substantive five week U.S.-based fellowship,including an individualized placement in a U.S. workplace, complemented by collaborative programming with American outbound participants in the foreign participant’s home country.

Summer Course Program 2014

Summer course program 2014 was conducted in Waykambas National Park located in East Lampung. Nine international students from eight countries joined this special course. The activities were observing wild animal, forest inventory, extraordinary elephant attraction, real experience in few cultural skilss such as Tapis handicraft, and traditional musical instruments, etc
