REGISTRATION

APPLYING FOR A VISA

The SIMPONI payment type of choice is the Online PNBP Information System (SIMPONI), a billing system managed by the Directorate General of Budget, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia to facilitate PNBP payments/deposits and non-budget revenues. SIMPONI provides convenience for payers/payers to pay/deposit PNBP and non-budget revenues through various payment channels such as tellers (Over The Counter), ATM (Automatic Teller Machine), EDC (Electronic Data Capture), and internet banking. Thus, people are free to choose various alternative payment methods that suit their needs.

The choice of the type of BEA FREE, is a payment mechanism of Rp. 0.- and USD 0.- for certain activities including; foreigners needed to overcome force majeure, foreign experts in the context of cooperation in program or project assistance from abroad to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, foreign students or students who receive scholarships from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, foreigners in the context of implementing the principle of reciprocity, foreign nationals representing foreign governments, international organizations, or international non-governmental organizations in the framework of humanitarian assistance in disaster areas in Indonesian territory. The above activities can be proposed with the mechanism of Rp. 0.- and USD 0.- after obtaining a decision from the Director General of Immigration.

The payment code will be active for 7 (seven) calendar days and if it is exceeded, the visa application will be cancelled;
  9. After the guarantor has made a transaction through the specified payment channel, the visa application will be verified and validated with the request and decision, the standard time required is no longer than 5 (five) working days
  10. Approved visa applications will be issued electronic visas and rejected visa applications will be given reasons for rejection sent to the guarantor’s email;
  11. Process complete.

ISSUED VISA

After the visa is completed, foreigners can enter Indonesia through a predetermined immigration checkpoint by following the health protocol in force in Indonesia as follows:

  1. Show a visa (physical or electronic) that is still valid;
  2. Foreigners must show a card or certificate (physical or digital) having received the full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine;
  3. Show negative results through the RT-PCR test in the country/region of origin whose samples were taken within a maximum period of 3 x 24 hours before departure and attached at the time of the health check or Indonesia International e-HAC;
  4. In the event that foreign travelers carry out centralized quarantine with self-financing, they must show proof of confirmation of payment for ordering quarantine accommodation from the accommodation provider while staying in Indonesia;

Foreigners who use the above type of visa after entering and staying in Indonesia are not required to report to the immigration office unless they wish to extend their stay permit for a foreigner’s visit.   10. Foreigners who use the above type of visa after entering and staying in Indonesia within 30 (thirty) days from the date of arrival in Indonesia must report themselves to the immigration office according to the foreigner’s domicile to obtain a Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) and can be extended.

Individual guarantors are Indonesian citizens, with the following criteria:

  2. individual company;
  3. foundation;

  6. limited partnership;
  7. firm alliance;
  8. foreign representative in Indonesia;

The criteria for profit or profit oriented corporations include:

  1. registered as a legal entity in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations;
  2. not currently in a legal dispute;
  3. have sufficient active funds to guarantee the Foreigner; And

How to become a guarantor for foreigners?

Prospective guarantors register themselves as guarantors through the visa application at the address www.imigration.go.id then select the online visa service, or via https://visaonline.imigration.go.id then select register/registration after that select the type of guarantor. Please fill out the electronic form completely and correctly then attach the required documents according to the guarantor’s choice and the final stage is that the application is accepted and will be verified, validated by the officer and given an official decision. If the guarantor registration is approved, the guarantor will receive a notification in the form of a username and password as well as a guarantor card and if rejected, the guarantor will receive a reason for the refusal.

What are the operating hours for visa applications?

I received a visa application delay notification, what should I do?

If the guarantor receives a notification of a delay in the visa verification process including the reason for the delay, please immediately update it independently through the tka online application or send it physically or electronically to the visa sub-directorate via email: visa@imigration.go.id

I didn’t receive any notification since submitting the visa application?
