SEA Teacher Program 6th Batch, UNILA Accept five Students Delegation From Philippines
The University of Lampung (UNILA) accepting through Collaboration Development and International Affairs or International Office (UPT PKLI) five delegation students from Philippines (1/8/2018). This is the sixth Batch of SEA Teacher Program. This reception was held in Ruang Sidang, Rectorate Building, 2nd Floor on Monday, August 6th 2018. This agenda attended by Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Bujang Rahman, M, Si; Head of Collaboration Development and International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Cipta Ginting, M. Sc; and Faculty of Training Teacher and Education (FKIP) Board of Management.
Prof. Cipta Ginting explained that this program aims to provide opportunities for all students in Southeast Asia to have practical teaching experience in schools located another country in Southeast Asia. Students exchange helps students in preparing themselves to face international challenges and global system, especially in the area of Industrial Revolution 4.0.
The mechanism in this program is students through a bottom up process. This means that they choose their own practicum destination according to their interests and fields, both the state and the university they will attend for this program. This activity are under the coordination of the Southeast Asian organization, Seameo.
“UNILA also sent 4 students to Philippines and today we accept their 5 students to Lampung” added Prof. Cipta. It means that there is feedback from this both country. This Agenda, said Prof. Bujang, is a good collaboration between UNILA and Foreign Country, UNILA and schools which accepted the delegations, and the schools with foreign country itself. So, he reminded to the schools to give best cooperation and impression to the SEA Teacher student’s delegations.
