X. VISA ARRANGEMENTS

Visa used for joining the Darmasiswa program is Cultural-Social Visa (VKSB) that can be obtained through the Embassy of Republic of Indonesia where the participants live. This visa will be converted to a Stay Permit for 1 (one) year upon arrival in Indonesia through the Sekretariat Negara RI and the Immigration Directorate Jenderal.
The participants are prohibited to use the Tourist Visa to study in Indonesia, since it will have effect in processing the Stay-Permit.
