IV. DUTIES OF PARTICIPANTS

1.    The participant will help the university or a school in the proximity of the university to teach a foreign language and other academic subjects.
2. The participant will follow lectures until the end of the program.
3. Before his/her departure to Indonesia the participant will sign a declaration at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in his/her country with the following contents:

• will obey the regulations valid at the university;
• will not change his/her field of study or university before he/she leaves for Indonesia or when he/she stays in Indonesia;
• will not commit any criminal act;
• will not be involved or do any political activities and not work as long as he/she studies in Indonesia;
• will not use any drugs or forbidden substances;
• will not leave Indonesia more than once during his/her studies in Indonesia;
• is not allowed to bring his family to Indonesia during his/her studies in Indonesia;
• if he/she does not obey these regulations and the regulations concerning his/her stay permit in Indonesia, he/she will be send home.
