Making Batik and Earthware in Outing Class

Almost every place in Indonesia has a different tradition, culture, and art. Especially in Lampung, there are many kinds of arts from Lampung such as Batik and Gerabah. Batik is one of the traditional clothes from Indonesia and Gerabah is the traditional art from Indonesia, that looks like a ceramic made from the clay.

In Lampung, Darmasiswa students are not only learning about Indonesian language but also learn about traditional culture and arts such as Lampung batik and gerabah.

In every Thursday Darmasiswa students to go to Batik place and learn the process of how to make a Batik clothes from the first step till finishing. In that class, they can make batik by themselves. There are two teachers who teach them the way to make a good one of batik such as; position, tool and another things are influence for making batik.
