Unila Initiates Cooperation with the Embassy of Pakistan through a Virtual Meeting

(Unila): In order to enhance cooperation with regional-level universities, Lampung University (Unila) invited the Embassy of Pakistan to participate in a virtual coordination meeting on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
The meeting was attended by the Rector of Lampung University, Prof. Dr. Karomani, M.Si., Vice Rector for PKTIK Prof. Ir. Suharso, S.Si., Ph.D., Head of the Technical Implementation Unit for Development of Cooperation and International Services (UPT PKLI) Dr. Ayi Ahadiat, S.E., M.B.A., and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Muhammad Hassan.
In his speech, Prof. Karomani stated that Lampung University plans to collaborate with the top 10 universities in Pakistan. Lampung University is ready to implement cooperation by exchanging students and lecturers to collaborate on research in the fields of science and technology, social sciences, and other academic activities. “Later, this cooperation will be embodied in MoU and MoA documents that will be discussed and agreed upon together,” he said.
Karomani hopes that the results of this coordination can lead to successful implementation of the cooperation. Until now, Unila has always tried to establish cooperation with reputable universities that have good facilities, expertise, abilities, and experience to conduct quality international cooperation. Similarly, Vice Rector for PKTIK Prof. Suharso stated that the cooperation established is expected to produce high innovation and have the characteristics of each country, while still generating added value in general for research institutions, governments, private sectors, the world of industry and business, and specifically for students.
