UPT PKLI and Foreign Students Participate in “Pangan Balak” Event to Celebrate the 26th Anniversary of Tanggamus Regency

UPT PKLI and foreign students from the University of Lampung participated in the Pangan Balak event. This event was organized by Tanggamus Regency through the Department of Tourism and Culture (Disparbud). Pangan Balak is one of the series of events commemorating the 26th anniversary of Tanggamus Regency. Pangan Balak, which was held at the Ratu Sports Hall, Pekon Kotaagung District, Kotaagung, on Monday (20/3), was attended by thousands of participants consisting of Forkopimda, regional organizations, 20 districts, as well as villages and local communities.
The Pangan Balak event was officially opened by the Regent of Tanggamus, Hj. Dewi Handajani, S.E, M.M. In her speech, the Regent stated that the Pangan Balak or Pangan Agung activity is an event that has not been held for a long time due to the Covid-19 pandemic that has affected the entire world.
UPT PKLI was represented by Ahmad Kurniadi, Siswanti, Dara Helmasena, Arief, Wafiq, and Dhinne. In addition, six foreign students participated, namely Wilayatshah Himat, Karim Azizi, Abdul Basit Dehqan, Valentine Roudier, Abdul Basit Bashiri, and Alaaddin.
The participation of UPT PKLI and foreign students in this event aims to introduce the traditional culture of Lampung society, namely the tradition of eating together to strengthen relationships and express gratitude [Yoga Adi Pratama].
