Webinar: “Jammu and Kashmir Dispute and its Implications on the Peace and Security in South Asia and Beyond”


(Unila): University of Lampung (Unila) through the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Department of International Relations held an international webinar entitled “Jammu and Kashmir Dispute and its Implications on the Peace and Security in South Asia and Beyond”, Thursday, August 5 2021.
The activity, which was held online via the Zoom Meeting application, was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for the Republic of Indonesia, Muhammad Hassan, and speakers including Prof. Darni M. Daud (Unsyiah), Nur Munir (Unusia), and Yusny Saby (UIN Ar-Raniry).
Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and ICT Unila Prof. Ir. Suharso, Ph.D., when opening the event expressed his gratitude for the willingness of the speakers and the presence of participants in this international webinar organized by the University of Lampung.
“It is an honor for Unila to be able to receive the presence of highly reputable sources, to convey a complete picture of related topics,” he said.
Suharso said that the webinar that was held was substantially relevant to what was happening at this time. He hopes that by holding this activity, it can establish wider and more intensive cooperation, especially in the field of research and publications, and pave the way for continued cooperation between Unila and universities in Pakistan.
