“The limits of my language mean the limits of my world”

I went to Indonesia for the first time in 2016 through the Darmasiswa -a scholarship program offered to all foreign students to study Indonesian language, art, and culture within one year. This is the first step for beginning my new life in Indonesia.
After finished my Darmasiswa program, I was interested in linguistic, especially the Indonesian language essence. Therefore, I made up my mind to continue studying a bachelor ‘s degree in Lampung University, Indonesian Language and Literature Education Department.
Until now-2019, I have finished two years per four years of academics, but still, have many people always aks me why I learn the Indonesian language. You know, I just smile and answer that the limits of my language mean the limits of my world (Ludwig Wittgenstein). This means to learn a language, I could learn about a country and understand a person by my heart.
Thus, after graduating, I will continue to study the magister of the Indonesian language because I would like to become an Indonesian language lecture at a university in Vietnam-my motherland.
