Workshop on Strengthening International Collaboration between University of Lampung and Deakin University

University of Lampung held an international workshop entitled “Workshop on Strengthening International Collaboration between University of Lampung and Deakin University, Australia” yesterday, November 6, 2012 at meeting room of Rektorat Bulding.

The workshop was attended by the vice rectors, all the deans and vice deans,  the head of International Office Unila, all the heads of department, and the staff of departments. Attending on this event, the Director of International Office , Deakin University, Lorne Gibson and the representatives of Deakin University, Jakarta Lina Darliana and Rudy.

University of Lampung and Deakin University always have some events to follow up the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that has been agreed such as inisation workshop cooperation held at second floor of Rectorate Unila yesterday. The workshop was officially opened by the vice rector 1 Prof. Dr. Hasriadi Mat Akin, M.P. while the discussion was moderated by Prof. Dr. Jamalam Lumban Raja, M.S. and the Head of International office Dr. Paul B. Timotiwu.

The Head of International Collaboration BAPSIK University of Lampung Dra. Eka Purnama, M.A. stated, this event is one of the efforts to increase the good collaboration from both universities. Besides, the progam will be explained on MoU in detail, such as the mechanism of lecturer and student exchange and also materials giving to strengthen both universities. The collaboration which was done by both universities covers in any aspects such as collective research and the publication, seminar and workshop. Meanwhile, the faculties that have collaborated with Deakin University are the faculty of economy and business and the faculty of teacher training and education. This kind of event will always be continued to realize the vision of University of Lampung becomes “World Class University” added Eka.
