Signing of MoU between Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka and University of Lampung

Today, Monday (5/6), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTem) and University of Lampung (UNILA) inaugurated the collaboration between the two parties by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The event was held in the Meeting Room, 2nd floor of the Rectorate Building, UNILA. It was attended by 30 invitations and participants i.e. UNILA Board of Management, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and international), Deputy Dean, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Director ofiice of Academic Planning and Development UTeM.

In his speech, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and international) Profesor Dr. Zulkiflie bin Ibrahim said the this MoU would serve as a forum of collaboration between UTem and UNILA in defined areas as exchange staff as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students in the course of academic development to address problems relating to the area of engineering, Cooperation in undergraduate or postgraduate studies programme such as student mobility, dual or joint degree and joint supervision programme, plan and develop innovation in research grants and specialised training, sharing expertise through research collaboration, consultancy, and community service. Therefore, with this collaboration, it is hoped that UTem and UNILA can help each other through many academic programs.

Rector of UNILA, Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, D.E.A. IPM who gave a speech also said that UNILA welcomes this collaboration with many pleasure because it is in accordance with the objectives of UNILA in the context of improving research and internationalization. “Hopefully, lecturers and students in UNILA can contribute to this collaboration. She also hopes that UTem and UNILA can continue this MoU to reach the objective itself.

The event continued with a signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UTem and UNILA by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and international) Profesor Dr. Zulkiflie bin Ibrahim and by the Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, D.E.A. IPM. And closed by taking the documentations will all the deans of UNILA.
